The EARTH story - May 3, 1372
Two weeks pass, and it is May 3rd. Perhaps it is spring elsewhere in the world, but here at Laurie's temple, winter is only just beginning to ease its grip. The temperature is perhaps 40F, sleet or something is falling out of a leaden sky, and there is over three feet of snow on the ground.
Today, Jon completes his training as a mage. Mikodin finishes his training, too.
Midmorning comes, and Tabrina teleports in with Sharone, Beth and Humphrey. You note that Britan is not with them.
"Hello everyone," Beth says. "Britan had to leave to go fight in the South. News from the mage's guild indicates that there's war all over, it seems. With our luck, we'll find out that the Drow are behind it and the whole world is depending on us to stop it."
"How are things going up here in the chilly North?"
Raz looks up as Beth speaks. He looks bored. Saying nothing he returns to his book.
Sharone casts an 'Endure Cold' spell on herself.
"I'd almost forgotten how cold it is in this part of the world. "
Jon, surprised from his study of magic, says, "Has the money/treasure been divided yet? Perhaps I missed it. 'Bye Vardui! Looks like I have to do it the hard way."
"As you have stated, Beth, we could be the only thing stopping this war. Let’s get back to it," says Kelar. "Anyone else need to train?"
Jon is ready to go back to the caves...
