September 25, 1371

September 25th sees the drizzle continuing...though it remains warm.

Britan Rides along as his mount wades through the mud and the muck you hear Britan mumble, "Damn Rain I haven't been dry in days. Hey Raz there are your children," as he points to the vultures, "And they look hungry too."

A half an hour after seeting out again this morning, you encounter another patrol of a dozen ogres on enormous draught horses...plodding at a slow and miserable pace westward through the rain.

They barely give you a glance as you pass.

Late in the morning, you approach a most interesting sight.

Set some distance back from the road on the left hand side is a large, low building. It is roughly rectangular-shaped, and of only one storey. The entire side facing the road is glass...though you can see several doors as well. This gives a view into the brightly lit interior...and you see figures moving around inside. A brightly lit, garish orange sign hangs on the outside of the building, proclaiming -

MIRACLE MOOD FART

- and below it a smaller sign announces -

LOWEST PRICES GUARANTEED!

Between the building and the road is a large paved over area...littered with the hulks of strange-looking horseless carraiges. You see monsters - females, mostly - entering and leaving the building throught the doorways. The ones leaving are pushing odd-looking metal carts filled with small sacks and bags.

McTavish stops, looks at the store and then looks at the rest of you.

"Shall we trash the place?" he asks. "Or should we buy groceries?"

"Depends on what they are selling, but there is no point in leaving a trail of devestation behind us. Raz can take out the vultures though." says Illyana.

Raz looks confused. "What the hell is it?", he asks.

"It's a supermarket," says McTavish. "What kind of a backwoods hole are you from? Maine?"

Raz laugh..."No way..only the stupidest people come from there...they're REAL HICKS..I'm a city boy myself!"

Banquo smiles and says, "I'm from nowhere near THAT bad a place, I'm from outside Cleveland, Parma actually. Considering the clientel I think we should just move on, there should be a Chop and Slave somewhere near."

Looking at the grocery store thoughfully, Raz continues..."I doubt there is anything of value in there..I think we should just move on."

Ayazin looks up from his nap and sniffs at the supermarket. "Doesn't look like they have organically grown produce. Let's keep moving."

"Yeah," agrees McTavish. "And I'll bet the only meat they have is elf. Geeyap, ye bastards!"

You trundle on in the rain...the umpleby still trailing along behind you.

The rest of the day is quiet and wet.

You camp the night off of the road again. It is descending into another valley...but in the mist and rain, coupled with the failing light, you cannot make out what lies ahead.

Farad turns to the furry thing following us. "Smell any treasure up ahead?"

"Uh-uh," it replies with an idiotic grin.

Britan looks at Farad and says, " How do you exspect him to smell treasure with you upwind of him, It's a wonder he doesn't pass out," as he laughs.

Sharone as usual carefully takes out her small tent and pitches it.

Lighting a small cheery fire she prepares hot cocoa and toasts some bread. " Does any one else feel like a hot snack ? She looks around the group "

Having satisfied her hunger plus any interested party member she prepares for bed casting a ' Wyvern watch ' to ensure no unwelcome visitors catch her unawares during the night.

" Good night, gentlemen se you tomorrow. "

The night is uneventful again.

Next day
