"I don't want to carry them," says Gamvik, looking at the statues. "Plus, Farad said they don't like me down there. So who wants to wait here with me?"
Ayazin says, "I will wait with you, my diminutive chum. As my father Ayazin used to say, 'Everybody must get stoned.' I'm not sure this is what he meant, but there it is all the same."
"I will stay with are stoned friends also. No need to carry them all over the place," says Kelar
Sharone will enter the city with her two friends, but she will veil her face in deference to the magic user society. "Perhaps covering our faces may cause them less stress from our presence."
Farad doesn't want to carry the statues across the city. "There is time to do that once we know if the magicians here are powerful enough to change them back."
Nodding to Raz, the grey elf heads off looking for the Usamigaras temple down here.
Raz follows Farad.
Sharone follows Raz.
After a bit, Farad, Raz and Sharone return.
Illyana yawns. "Can we change our two lawn decorations back to normal?"
Raz nods, "Yes, but it's gonna cost us 4,000 gp".
Illyana blinks. "That's it? Where's the problem?"
Raz shrugs. "No problem. Just stating a fact. If you give me or Farad the money, we'll go back and buy the scrolls needed."
"What about the cash we've been collecting? Farad?"
Farad nods. "Well, if everyone is agreed its worth the price we'll go and buy them."
With that the elf will dig out enough treasure to pay the bill, getting rid of as many small coins as possible. If needed he'll ask some of the others to help carry it back.
"Yeah, we easily have enough."
Once done, he goes back and buys the scrolls and retrieve his maps.
He returns after awhile with two scrolls.
Farad looks at Raz and Beth. "Which of you two is the strongest? We don't want any mistakes in casting the spells."
Raz looks unsure, but replies, "I believe I am a stronger mage then Beth..currently"
Farad hands Raz the scrolls.
Raz opens up the first scroll, and finds a stone to flesh spell inscribed upon it. He reads the scroll.
Suddenly, Aldarin is his old, meaty self again.
Raz opens the second scroll, and finds another stone to flesh spell. He reads it, and Britan is returned to normal as well.
It is late in the day.
Britan shakes his head and pinches his arms and legs to make sure everything has returned to normal. "Man , that was a really eerie feeling and I don't want to go through that again."
Then he stops checking himself out.
"Thanks guys for bring us back for the stone age.."
Aldarin stretches and then with a furrowed brow, says, "I've got a stone cold headache," as he puts a hand to his head.
You depart the underground city and head back up to the pyramid.
