June 20, 1372

The night is uneventful, and you continue your trek in the morning.

June 20th is also uneventful. Occasionally the road comes close to the West River as it meanders back and forth, and you see that it is a broad, deep flow, perhaps three quarters of a mile wide.

At mid evening you reach the village of Trader Nest. It is a settlement of Men, founded long ago to take advantage of the trade which once ran down The Great Western Road between Saltar and the Elven lands to the west. Of course there is a signpost here, as a road runs south into the mountains of the Dwardarf -

The Great Western Road: East: To Westmarish, Hambol Hollow and Derextar.
West: To Durbash, Minloo and Orbash.
South: To Vondapara and Stone's Root.

You spend the night here at an inn called The Tree, and set out in the morning well fed and rested.
