Harvester 3, 584

Finally, on the third day of the month of Harvester, the clerics pronounce him fit as a fiddle, and you head back to the Tower of War.

After a beer with the dwarves you head in.

Per Stump's previous suggestion, you head back into the chamber where you encountered the skeletons and zombies. Searching the rest of the place and the room from whence the skeletons came, you find nothing of interest or value.

That leaves only the kennel, where the remaining skeletal dogs presumably lurk, to deal with on this level.

Zanax scans for evil.

He detects none.

"Let's wipe them out and move on!" Lo exclaims.

"A brilliant plan," says the dwarf to Zanax. "He's learning."

"Drandar, stand in front of the door while Lo opens it. I'll turn as many as I can, but may not get them all. Try to contain them in the room."

"How about I open the door and throw Lo in?" replies the dwarf. "Ok, we'll do it your way this time, Zanax, but I like my idea."

Zanax draws his frostbrand and holy symbol and prepares to turn the skeletal dogs when the door is opened.

Drandar stands there, mace in hand to see what he can do about preventing anything from passing him.

You open the door and the skeletal poodles charge at you, yipping furiously.

Zanax tries to turn them but the undead doggies ignore his best attempt.

Drandar swings his mace, smashing one to bits. The rest attack either him or surge by him to attack the rest of you.

"Way to go, Drandar!" shouts Badd, and hides behind someone large.

"Not one of your better plans, Zanax. I like mine better."

"Oh, sure...criticize using 20/20 hindsight..."

"Of course, you're so jen duh sh tyen tsai with plan," says Drandar, lapsing into some strange dwarven dialect.

Two skeletal poodles attack him, and two also go for Lo. The rest of you are attacked by a poodle apiece.

"Sit," Drandar commands.

In answer, one cocks his leg and the dwarf feels something wet cascading over his shin, while the other attaches itself to Drandar's shield. The dwarf mashes it into a conveniently placed wall, pulverising it.

Tragon attacks one of the dogs, using the flat of his blade.

The paladin deflects the undead attack as he strikes the creature.

Lornard likewise steps forward and attacks one of the skeletal dogs, using the flat of his sword.

The ranger also avoids an attack as he chips a rib bone.

Zanax swings his frostbrand at any undead doggies swarming past Drandar.

Zanax clobbers a skeleton, dodges a bite, then polishes the undead off.

Stump lashes out at the first one that is within striking distance.

The warrior nicks his foe.

Nason comes under attack so he responds with his shortsword, connecting handily. He is bitten for 5 hit points, badly injuring him.

Lo faces off against two skeletons. His first kick misses its target as a skeleton takes a bite out of britches.

Badd is chased by a skeleton, which gets underfoot, tripping him and sending him sprawling.

Amberle presents her holy symbol - "Begone those who the Fates deserted."

This time only one skeleton turns and runs away...the one which had been about to attack her.

She then prepares to use her mace.

Kelene also tries her luck at turning.

"Begone, in the name of goodness and light!" she exclaims.

Six more undead turn and run back into the room, yelping: one on Lo, plus the ones attacking Nason, Kelene, Badd, Stump and Lornard.

Lo, Tragon and Drandar continue to battle.

Drandar swings his mace twice and smushes the skeletal dog attacking him.

Zanax attacks the one on Lo and yells to Kelene, "See what you can do for Nason!"

Tragon continues to fight the dog attacking him.

The paladin quickly deals with his assailant.

The monk tries to kick some ass as he takes out his sharp knife and slices at the nearest skeleton on him.

Lo is bitten for 6 hit points as he stabs at the monster, missing. He starts to realise that his feet are probably better for kicking ass than a knife.

Zanax dispatches with Lo's attacker with two quick swings.

"Poor baby," coos Kelene as she cures Nason for 1 hit point.

Seven more skeletal dogs are cower at the back of the kennel.

Zanax informs Lo, "Blunt weapons work better, unless your knife is highly magical."

The monk grits his teeth as his wounds start to multiply and he sheathes his blade on the suggestion of Zanax.

"Could someone heal me?" he asks.

"Drandar and Tragon, let's finish this." Zanax says, as he heads into the kennel.

Drandar looks at Zanax.

"Shall we deal with them alone?" he asks. "We'll go in and someone can close the door so none get out."

Zanax nods. "Someone should definitely shut the door behind us, but we'll take Tragon with us."

Tragon bows.

"I'm honored."

"Don't go so formal on us, lad," says the dwarf.

"Do you want me to lock it?" asks Badd cheerily.

"Ah, no. That'll be ok. Once we finish, though you should," says Drandar.

Amberle asks, "Shouldn't we try to destroy them? That would remove the threat for us or anyone else."

"That's the plan," says Drandar, hefting his mace. "I'll use a five iron."

"Drandar, Tragon and I will destroy them, but we will shut, but not lock - " Zanax gives Badd a look, " - the door to prevent them from escaping the kennel and attacking you guys."

"I can always unlock it afterwards," volunteers Badd. "Well, not always. Usually though."

The paladins and dwarf head into the kennel.

Badd closes the door behind them.

Through the door the rest of you hear the sounds of a battle...then silence. After a few more minutes the door opens and Zanax, Drandar and Tragon emerge. The dwarf looks slightly the worse for wear, and looking into the kennel area all you see are some broken bones at the far end.

Kelene, meanwhile, has cast a second cure light wounds into Nason, making him as right as rain.

You have finished this level, so you take Stump's previous advice and check out the stairs heading up.

You do not get far: the stairs end in a pile of rubble which would take you a very long time to dig out. You recall from seeing the tower from the outside that it does not have a second storey anyway.

You then check out the second flight of stairs, which head down.

These are in good condition, and lead you northeast and down to a square shaped chamber. Each side is 20' long, and the stairs come down in the middle of the southwest wall. In the middle of each of the other walls exits a 10' wide passage. In each corner of the chamber is a shelf. On each shelf is a gold ingot (4 at 200gp ea.), resting on a square of red velvet.

You look down each passage, and see that they are only 5' long, and each ends at a door.

Zanax smiles and claps the dwarf on the back, "Ah, a good battle! I think Drandar that maybe you're getting a bit slow in your old age...what was that, two hits from those skeletons, that you took?"

"It was not a battle. I was distracted. The time Yuri, Hlarn, Kadlian and I took on a cave of orcs, now that was a battle," smiles the dwarf. "These Westminster Kennel Club rejects were just...annoying."

Zanax snorts. "If you say so, old friend...if you say so..."

"You took on a cave of orcs with just four of you?" Tragon asks incredulously.

Zanax nods to Tragon. "Good work, too. You more than held your own in there."

Tragon beams under the praise. "Thank you, Sir. I was lucky that my armor turned their attacks. I hope someday to fight as well as you and Drandar do."

"Don't over-inflate the lad's ego. He handles a sword well. But let's not let it go to his head," says the dwarf, a smile indicating that he does not mean it.

Tragon grins, enjoying the comradery. "I'll work hard on that. Of course, you do know that paladins have big egos."

"Let's not be hasty taking the ingots, okay? It's probably a trap."

"Hey, hey, coming through!" calls Badd, as he pushes his way to the front of the party and examines the ingots for traps.

He spots nothing suspicious about the ingots.

Zanax scans for evil down all four passages and all four shelves.

He detects no evil through the doors or from the shelves.

Zanax puts a hand on Badd's shoulder. "Leave them for now, Badd. We can grab them on the way out."

"Let's go this way," Zanax says, indicating a passageway across from the stairway they came down.

You open the door to the northeast.

Through it you see a 10' wide passage, running northeast for 10' (left wall) / 7' (right wall). After that the walls take off in separate directions.

You go down and take a look.

Before you and to the left is a chamber (left wall runs northwest for almost 15', then northeast for 20', then southeast for about 24' (door in middle), then southwest for 10'). In the gap remaining to the right is a passage running southeast.

You inspect the chamber.

There is not much to inspect, really. In the north corner are a few bones and the dried up husk of an enormous ant.

You look down the passage.

It runs for 57', and then you see the beginning of a flight of stairs heading down to the south. In the 33' - 42' section is a four way intersection with a passage running northeast - southwest.

Badd walks over to the enormous ant and pokes around in the pile of bones.

"Ugh," he says. "Big ants. Nothing good ever comes from big ants."

Zanax draws his long sword. "If you don't have your weapons drawn, this might be a good time to do so."

Zanax scans for evil down the 57' passage. "Let's search down here and then come back to check the passage behind us.

Zanax turns invisible and walks cautiously toward the intersection to scan for evil down those passageways.

Amberle observes, "No undead yet, good sign."

She gets her mace ready.

"Be careful what you say. They may be laying in wait," says Drandar.

Tragon draws his longsword.

The monk just follows in tow, being very quiet and to himself.

Kelene drops back beside him.

"What's wrong my sweet? Are you missing the leash?"

"Amusing, Kelene, but no," he replies with a smile, "As much as I enjoy your body, this is an issue of use, I am of little use so far in this place and it is frustrating."

"Oh, that's not true!" the drow exclaims. "You are of great use to me!"

Reaching the intersection, you look both ways.

To the left, the passage runs northeast for 20' along the left wall, then east for about 10' (door), then south for about 5' (door). At that point it meets the right wall. In the 10' section of the right wall as measured from the intersection is a third door.

To the right, the passage slopes down several feet over a horizontal distance of 10', then opens up into a large chamber. You cannot see the far end of the chamber from your current vantage point but you can see the near ends of two long tables, surrounded by chairs. A skeleton sits slumped in one of the chairs, limply holding a long sword in one bony hand.

You catch a whiff of a most unpleasant odour coming from this chamber.

"Amberele, Kelene and Tragon, take your holy symbols out."

Zanax takes out his, keeping his long sword in his main hand.

The monk waits for the fighter types to charge in and then when he is able to assess the threat level, he will attack, if needed.

Tragon pulls out his holy symbol from under his cloak and holds it in his left hand.

You advance down the ramp, Zanax leading.

At the bottom you step into a large octagonal shaped chamber (right wall runs west for 15', southwest for 40', south for 15', southeast for 10', east for 15', northeast for 40' and then north to close up).

Resting atop two small tables to either side of the entrance are four suits of makeshift armour which are evidently the source of the stench. In all, there are also six skeletons slumped here and there at the two long tables which run the length of the chamber. Each clutches a sword limply. A pair of javelins lies close by each one.

Suddenly they jump up, each seizing a javelin, and hurl them at you!

You all duck or jump aside...all of you but Nason that is. He takes a javelin in the left shoulder for 4 hit points of damage.

The skeletons are reaching for the remaining javelins...

Zanax sighs. "Someone see to Nason while we dispatch the remaining skeletons."

Stump rushes the skeletons, hoping to stop them before they throw any more javelins.

Tragon charges a convenient skeleton, trying to get there before it can throw the javelin. He uses the flat of his blade against it.

The monk charges the nearest skeleton and kicks at it with his foot.

Badd makes himself invisible, and hides under a table.

"Zanax, turning them would be a good idea," says Drandar. "We need to discuss tactics rather than everyone rush the bad guys."

He looks around for additional enemies as he moves forward, mace in hand to crunch some skeletons.

Zanax, holy symbol in hand, turns the skeletons. "Begone!"

Zanax sighs again. "Kids these days are always in a rush. Never listen to their elders, neither. After this, we'll discuss tactics and having those who can turn undead, keeping their holy symbols out and ready to be used."

The skeletons are consumed in holy fire, before any of you can engage them.

However, the piles of makeshift armour stir and stand up, and now you see them to be four zombies!

Amberle presents her holy symbol. "Back to the Fate you were dealt."

The zombies ignore her.

"Scoot!" exclaims Kelene, brandishing her symbol, "You refugees from a necrophiliac's wet dream!"

The zombies turn and stagger away, making for the back of the chamber.

Zanax turns his holy symbol on them as they retreat, and they too are destroyed.

Searching the chamber, you find two gold candelabras (90gp ea.).

"At least they didn't laugh at you," says Drandar to Amberle. "There was this cleric once, her name was Sasha ... and every time she tried to turn undead, they just laughed at her."

Amberle answers, "Her lady abhors undead as they are outside their final fate. To laugh would hasten their return to it. I am also a lowly member with little stature. My time will come."

"Stature isn't everything!" pipes up an invisible Badd.

"Counts for a lot in certain situations."

"That was too much information," says Drandar to Kelene.

"I'm a drow," Kelene replies, as if that is all the explanation needed.

"Well, that worked better. With so many undead around, those who can turn undead should always have their holy symbols out."

"Zanax, I'm not powerful enough to affect the undead using my holy symbol."

Zanax nods, "Well, then I suggest you have your sword ready."

"I do have it ready. I just wanted to explain why I wasn't bothering to try and turn them."

"Well lad, you did pretty well with that other holy symbol of yours," says the dwarf as he hefts his mace again. "This is me holy symbol, but I'm wishing we'd find some more meatier foes."

"Disappointed that Zanax destroyed the zombies?"

Stump agrees, "Let's just take care of them."

"Take care of whom?"

"Don't mind me, I still have visions of zombies in my head," Stump replies

"Ah. You're just as disappointed as Drandar, that Zanax destroyed them."

Stump shrugs his shoulders. "True!"

Zanax scans the room for evil and exits.

You head back out of the chamber and through the four-way intersection, then down the northeast passage. There are three doors down here. Zanax scans, but detects no evil through the two doors at the end of the passage. However, through the first door on the right he does detect evil!

After Zanax informs the others of the evil behind the first door on the right, he draws his frost brand and holy symbol. He indicates for the two clerics to hold out their holy symbols, too.

"Drandar and Tragon with me. Clerics right behind us, ready to turn if they're undead."

Tragon adjusts his shield and gets a firmer grip on his sword.

"Ready," he whispers.

"Relax son, lest you get too uptight and scare the others," says Drandar nonchalantly, drawing his bastard sword. "Alright, let's do this."

Tragon grins sheepishly. "I just don't want to drop my sword. It's embarrassing."

"Badd, check the door for traps, but don't open it, yet."

Drandar whispers, "Its right there Zanax. If we kick in the door, we could catch it by surprise."

Zanax whispers to the party, "After Badd checks for traps, Drandar will open the door, Lo will fire one shot over Drandar, then Tragon and I will follow behind Drandar. Amberle and Kelene, please have your holy symbols ready."

Amberle nods and has holy symbol ready.

Kelene nods.

Badd bounces invisibly up and checks for traps.

He finds none.

Crossbow in hand and nocked, Lo waits for the evil to come.

Zanax asks, "Everyone ready?"

He then nods for Drandar to open the door and waits for Lo to fire his crossbow before heading in with holy symbol and frost brand in hand.

The dwarf hits the door with his door opening tool - aka his head - and it pops open.

Through it you see a short passage (about 7' long) and a chamber opening up to the left and right after that.

Blocking your view, though, are four troglodytes who jump at you as they foam at the mouth.

Drandar rushes in where angels fear to go, as Lo's bolt whizzes over his head, striking the lead trog in the nose.

"BLUBBLUBBLUB!" it cries, and cuts into Drandar for 2 hit points. The dwarf replies with his bastard sword, all but killing the monster with one quick thrust. His blade seems to be extraordinarily effective against these creatures. It slashes him again for 4 hit points with its other claw, then the dwarf finishes him off with a follow up stab.

Another troglodyte jumps over the body of his fallen comrade and attacks Drandar next.

Beside him, Tragon has strode up to the next monster and easily carves a chunk of trog meat off of its hide. The monster howls, and slashes and bites the young man for 7 hit points.

No one else can get into the melee at this time.

Zanax moves up to provide his Protection From Evil, 10' Radius.

Zanax chuckles. "You're getting slow, old friend, taking two hits from a trog! I think it may be time for you to retire soon!"

"Complacent is more like it," retorts the dwarf. "All these undead have me wit's dulled."

"May have dulled your axe, as well. Two shots to kill a trog...put some muscle into those whacks! What are people going to say when Tragon has three kills to your one?"

Drandar attacks.

"Save your spells and bolts," he calls.

Tragon continues to swing at the trog.

The monk reloads and aims his crossbow.

Drandar's keen sense of hearing notes someone cocking a crossbow.

"Don't waste your bolts, and don't ever fire into melee. I don't want to become a pincushion."

Drandar takes a hit for 4 hit points from the latest troglodyte before he manages to chop the monster in two.

The last trog leaps at him.

Tragon fans with his longsword as he sidesteps an incoming claw...then fans again. The troglodyte does no better.

The dwarf makes very short work of his latest target, apparently having shaken off his complacency.

Tragon still struggles to connect with his elusive foe...then drops when the trog slashes him across the face for 2 hit points.

The trog then bites off a mouthful of human flesh from the fallen paladin before turning his attention to Drandar.

As Drandar moves in he is clawed for 2 hit points. A quick prod with his amazing bastard sword finishes off the last troglodyte.

The clerics move in to patch up the wounded and maimed paladin.

Tragon regains consciousness to find the clerics cooing over him. He has been patched up, though he has lost a lot of blood, and is now at -6 hit points.

All of the trogs are dead.

You go into the chamber.

It measures 10' X 20' (5' southwest, 10' northeast, 10' southeast). A small, ugly table surrounded by squat stools occupies the centre of the chamber. Offal, sticks and trash are in the corners. A few crude knucklebone dice lie on the table.

Searching the place and the corpses finds you nothing of interest or value.

The monk keeps his crossbow loaded in case of attack.

"Lad, how's it hurt?" Drandar says.

"I'm pretty beat up, Drandar. What happened?"

Zanax sighs. "Both of you really need to get better armor and weapons."

"Short of uncovering them while adventuring, how do I get better armor and weapons? I don't have much money."

"The chest at Occa's mansion has plenty of equipment."

"I was unaware that Occa had a mansion. Is it close to the castle?"

"Nope. We'll need some magical transportation to get us there and back while you're recovering."

He then lays on hand on Tragon for 18 hps.

Tragon's wounds close but he will still be out of action for awhile.

"Thank you, Zanax."

Zanax nods. "No problem."

Zanax shakes his head. "At this rate, it is going to take forever for us to clear out this place..."

"But them made a nice splat when you hit them."

"Let's move on..."

Zanax heads back to the passageway. "Badd, choose a door and check it for traps, please."

"Zanax, I'm in no condition to continue. I'm sorry." Tragon hangs his head.

Zanax sighs. "OK...maybe this is a good time to head back and see if we can get Occa or someone to teleport some of us back to the mansion to pick up equipment. I have a feeling some of you guys need to be better equipped."

"I would appreciate that."

So, you turn and drag Tragon out. Reaching the chamber at the bottom of the stairs, you note that the gold ingots are still there.

"I've got a bad feeling about that," says Drandar.

"Does anyone have Detect Magic? Since we're leaving, we should probably just check the ingots before we take them."

"You know," says Drandar. "If they ain't magic, we should magic them and then leave. I'm suspecting that we could argue they were magic now, and thus not subject to the gold tax."

Stump, not hearing Zanax, goes to scoop up the ingots.

Lo also goes to take what he can carry.

Drandar watches Stump and Logan.

"There's going to be a boom. There is always a boom," he says, stepping back and making sure he's as far away from the two as he can be, with weapon drawn.

Zanax barks out, "Stump, did you hear me?!"

Stump hesitates, as he suddenly spots a funny-looking residue on the ingot, but good old Lo grabs his ingot and pays the price.

Suddenly he screams, and his hands turn black and blue, as some sort of contact poison passes through his skin and into his system. The discolouration rapidly moves up his arms to his body. When it reaches his heart he drops and lies still...very still.

"Nooo!" wails Kelene, pushing her way forward to the monk. She takes out a clove of garlic and crushes it, then smears it on the soles of Lo's feet with one hand while clutching her holy symbol with the other and praying.

After a moment Lo opens his eyes and sits up, a sheepish expression on his so-called face.

"That will only hold the poison at bay for a few hours," the drow says, then scolds Lo, "You silly thing! We need to get you to a more powerful cleric for a neutralise poison!"

Tragon sighs at the stupidity. "Now you've got two invalids to carry."

Zanax sighs as well.

"Will someone please drag Lo's ass back to the castle?"

Zanax continues to help Tragon out of the tower.

"You mean we can leave the rest of him here, or should I drag his ass across the ground?" Drandar asks.

Zanax shrugs. "Your choice. Whatever way you think will keep him out of further trouble."

Drandar sheathes his sword and throws Lo over his shoulder.

"I'll carry the deadweight," he says, "And let that be a lesson to the rest of you. No touching."

Lo coughs feebly.

"What jerk poisons gold?" he asks wearily as he is thrown over Drandar's shoulder.

"People who want to keep their gold usually go to some means to protect it."

"Given it's been sitting there awhile with no-one taking it," says Badd, "You have to wonder why."

He shrugs.

"Don't mess with things you don't understand," he scold Lo. "Unless you're a gnome."

Zanax chuckles at the irony.

Amberle says, "I guess this means back out for some rest? How long does Lo have before the slow poison wears off?"

"Maybe three hours. We'd better hurry."

"Actually, he may die if he doesn't get a Neutralize Poison cast on him before slow poison wears off..."

"So let's move out..."

You gather up the gold, being careful to avoid contact with it this time.

You head back upstairs and then outside. The dwarves greet you, frisk you, and relieve you of two of the ingots. They do make change, however, and you leave with the equivalent of 533gp and 7sp.

They regard lo.

"Got poisoned, eh?" says Stillguar, "You know, we could neutralise it for, say, a thousand gold pieces."

"Holy shit! Talk about highway robbery," Stump reacts. He calls the others over, out of earshot of the dwarves. "Can we get him to town in time? If not, let's pool our resources and pay up. A raise dead will be a lot more than that."

You hurry back to Castle Greyhawk. There is about a half an hour left before Lo succumbs again.

"Look up that Orlon guy?" suggests Kelene.

"Right! Where is he?" replies Tragon, regarding Kelene.

"Kelene, can you cast Slow Poison again, if we need it?"

She shakes her head.

Darian walks by and stops in concern.

"What's wrong with him?" Darian places a hand on Lo's arm and attempts to heal him and remove the poison.

Lo does not respond to Darian's ministrations.

Zanax heads off to see if there is anyone else in the castle who can cast neutralize poison or slow poison.

Darian takes out his beaker of many potions and starts pouring the contents into cups from the dining table.

Two different coloured liquids pour out of it.

Darian sips both of them.

Upon sipping the first liquid, he falls madly in love with the first person he sees. That is Robert.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" the warrior asks.

When he sips the second liquid he feels as if he can see through things...like Robert's clothes.

At this point Occa and Rage wander in. Gonzo also appears, followed shortly by Orlon.

"Where is he?" Orlon asks as he appears. As soon as he sees Lo he whips up a neutralize poison spell and casts it on the fallen comrade. He then lays his hands on Lo as he casts a heal spell.

Lo jumps up and runs around, as right as rain

"My thanks, I am indebted to you," he replies. "My life is yours."

Darian, meanwhile, is making eyes at Robert.

"Because you are gorgeous. But, then, so is my wife."

"Ummm...yes," Robert says, eyeing Darian strangely.

"Maybe a threesome?"

Robert squints at the elf.

"Ummm...have you run this by your pregnant wife?"

Darian looks at Robert a little closer. "Hmm... You're a lot smaller than I would've expected."

"What are you talking about?"

"What's hidden behind your codpiece. I can see through solid objects, for some reason."

Robert reddens.

"Now see here! It's those potions you've been drinking, isn't it? Sheesh! Elves! They're all fairies, you know?"

Gilstrock whaps Darian lightly on the back of the head.

"Darian!" he says. "Gotta be careful what you drink! Sheesh, and here's me thinking you could hold your ale."

Darian points at one of the cups. "Gil, take a swig of that. You can see through solid objects!"

Gilstrock fails his will roll, and says, "Oh yeah? Cool!"

He takes a sip of the indicated cup.

"Hey," says Badd. "That's cool."

He takes a swig from one or other of the cups.

"Whoa!" says Badd. "I see what you mean. I'm starting to see things clearly now. Hey Nason, for a guy with a little nose you're pretty good-looking, you know that?"

Nason blushes and then chuckles. "That is funny."

Zanax returns with a vial and a tube, to find that Orlon has arrived - along with Occa, Gonzo and Rage - and that Lo Wang has been healed.

Meanwhile, Darian is making eyes at Robert and Badd is making eyes at Nason.

Robert - pointedly ignoring the amorous elf - says to Lornard, "You can probably find someone to train you at the Combat Training Facility in the Citadel Union."

Darian is dragged off to bed by Kelene.

Zanax sighs and stows the vial and tube in one of his pouches.

"Is everyone healed?"

"Better believe it," says Badd, gazing adoringly at Nason.

Nason says, "You couldn't drink the one that gave you the vision to see through walls?"

He shakes his head.

"This one enriches your inner life," says Badd. "The other one just lets you see through underwear."

He looks at Nason and scratches his head. "You think it would've been better if I'd had both?"

Nason gulps. "Uh, no. Mixing potions can be very dangerous."

next day...
