October 19, 1371

October 19th is an overcast day with a strong wind blowing out of the northwest, carrying on it the smell of the sea. The temperature is cooler, as well.

Setting off again, you continue along the seacoast road, which is running north at this point. Running along the top of a series of high cliffs overlooking the Pacific, the road is dryer and in better shape than it was previously, and so you make better time.

Tonight you make camp again overlooking the sea. The temperature drops down to near freezing, but the damp wind makes it feel colder. Otherwise, the night is uneventful.
