Occa tries to teleport the group to Limbo and then to Sandas.
Again, nothing happens when you try to teleport.
"Okay, one last attempt."
He invokes a wish.
"I wish we would all be transported instantly to my home in Sandas now."
Nothing happens.
Niko whistles. "Must be some mojo magic to prevent a Wish from working!"
Occa says, "Raz must have something up his sleeve. Okay, we are staying here then."
"So, where was Raz going to teleport us? Perhaps we should go there and then to Sandas?"
"We should train first and then go."
Darian nods. "Okay. Niko, I'll memorize the Identify spells as soon as I can, most likely tonight. Tomorrow morning, I'll cast them. I'll save one for your sword as well, Gilstrock."
"Thank you my friend," Gilstrock says. "It will have to be something pretty spectacular, though, to have me use it in favor of Thawbreaker or Hangnail here. Especially Thawbreaker. A warrior gets to know his sword, and it becomes nearly an extention of his own body. Sure, you gotta keep yourself limber using lots of different weapons, but your favorite sword is more loyal than your favorite dog."
"So, if it's not something that might be best in my hands, and it will help somebody else, somebody else should definitely use it!"
"Darian, could you kindly identify this broach, as well?" asks Emm.
"I'll save the third one for you, Emm. Anything left over can be done the following day."
"Since we seem to have enough money, maybe we could ask Magda to train Darian and myself to free you up, Occa."
"Occa, I have guild membership, so I'll go and train there. And I can sponsor Niko. That'll give you some time create a replicate. If we do have to leave Jesse here, that'd be best."
"I'll forgo my fighter training and worry about that later."
Realizing that the group is not going anywhere soon, Op Code sits down and pulls out some rations. Looking down at his bland food, he mutters, "Oh how I miss that cleric's pizza."
"Yeah," says Robert, in the same tone.
Darian heads out to the mage's guild, accompanied by Occa, who wants to do some research in the library. Several hours later Darian returns. It will cost him 9000gp to train to sorcerer, and and a further 8000gp for Niko to train to warlock. The next class begins December 15th.
It looks as if Darian will have time to train as a warrior, after all.
Next, he spends the remainder of the day preparing the items to be identified.
