April 6, 1372

April 6th is colder still, with the windchill below -10F. It snows steadily all day, and by nightfall there is 7" on the ground.

Reluctantly leaving the Burrow, you cross the Canabar and come to a hamlet of men, named...Burl Grav (population 200). After clearing Amlad customsyou enter the place. It seems like a pleasant enough place but you do not tarry.

Riding out of Burl Grav you find yourselves in the Canabar Forest, a deciduous woodland which grows along the banks of that river. The Amlad Road is running roughly southeast at this point. Because of the snow, you make slower progress today, and finally pitch camp in the woods for the night.
