Overnight, though a cold front pushes through and the temperature plummets to unseasonable levels. On the 18th it only gets up to 11F, under a clear blue sky. The biting wind creates a wind chill of -11F.

After riding for a few hours you reach the road that takes you south to the Amlad Road. Your pace picks up, and as you make camp in the evening under a waxing moon you know that you will be back at the Roadhouse Inn tomorrow.
