In
the morning you awaken, wash and change into clean clothes. Emerging
from your suites you find an enormous breakfast has been laid out for
you: fruits and breads, rolls, eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding,
mushrooms, ham, and foods you have never seen, along with tea and
juices.
When you are finished the dwarves again escort you out of the chambers,
and back to the large passage. You walk deeper into the mountain, then
come to a flight of stairs and begin climbing.
You climb all day, up stairs, along passages, then up inclines. The place is filled with dwarves going about their business.
Finally, as you suspect that night is coming on outside and you must be
near the summit of the mountain/stronghold, you arrive at another suite
of rooms similar to the ones you stayed in last night, but more
sumptuous. After another feast, you retire, exhausted from your trek.
