You continue south-southwest, following the curve of the Central Cordillera, looking for a place where you can set up camp and observe the surrounding area without being seen. Finally, at noon, you find such a place: a low ridge where the trees thin out, giving you a good view to the north, west and southwest.
Birch casts a hallucinatory forest spell, hiding you all effectively.
You settle down and wait.
