The EARTH story - February 9, 1372

The night passes quietly, and February 9th again is cold and overcast. There is next to wind, though, and that is a blessing.

By late morning the Road is running along the north bank of the Big Fish River. Jo-owrn quashes the urge to pause and do some ice fishing, and you press on. You find that as you have become used to your snowshoes your pace has picked up. There is still over 5' of snow on the ground.

Another night passes quietly.
