The EARTH story - August 18, 1372

As dawn approaches the skies clear at last, and you set out under an intense blue sky. The temperature still rises no higher than -35F, and there is 30" of snow on the ground. Skirting the edge of the glacier, you descend out of the mountains. To the north you can just make out the line of the McKenzie: it forms the southern border of Urguth at this point. By late afternoon you have reentered forest: the North Woods are coniferous but stunted.

Another uneventful night passes.
