A massive group of you are suddenly standing at the side of a road. It is dark, but a faint illumination is provided by the myriad of stars shining in the clear sky. The air is cool, but not unpleasantly so. Nearby are trees: leafless, for all of their leaves are on the ground beneath your feet. Most of the surrounding countryside is pasture and field, though; and here and there you see lights coming from peasants cottages. There is a slight glow in the sky from off to your right. The road is cobblestoned, well used but well maintained as well.
This is your group: Mort Downy, Tammy Bakker, Tricky Dicky, Vs Spy, Doug Henning, Laurie, Rameen, Doughboy, Sironar, a large number of troops and employees, Smet, Grim, McTavish, Vardui, Leanna, Devlin, Debbie Denise, Lyke, Leslie, Peter Jedicke, Mr. Clean, Cultfar, Magnum P.I., Sir Silly, Dale Armstrong, Grasshopper, Mr. Fighting Condom, Raymond, Blurry, Weed, George, Cureaid, Little Green Sprout, Treestump, Arakner, Longload, Selentor, Thot, Sormouth, Tabrina II, Kelene, Tabrina, Goodgulf and Angus.
Leslie sniffs the air.
"Greyhawk!" she exclaims. "I'd know that smell anywhere."
She looks over the crowd of you.
"It looks like we all made it..." she spies Tammy. "You! How did you get here with us?"
Laurie advances threateningly on Tammy.
"By the power of Tyr I will smite you for the evil which you wrought - "
Leslie restrains her.
"Hold, cleric, for clearly it is the work of the gods who sent her with us to this world," she turns back to Tammy, "Nevertheless, I shall tolerate your presence with us for no longer than need be. The arch-mage said he would put us close to the City of Greyhawk, and I suspect that that glow over there is it. Tomorrow, we will head there, and from there I shall seek the Terra Gate, the portal to my home world. Tammy, you may accompany us to Greyhawk, but no further."
"We should camp here for the night and enter the city tomorrow, then," says Grim, the druid of Silvanus, glancing about. The rest of you agree, and retire to a nearby copse of trees. Watches are posted, and you pass the night uneventfully.
